Connect Stripe, then find your link
Donations run through the same connection as everything else that takes money, so connect Stripe first. Once that is done, open Donations and press Copy link.
There is nothing to design and nothing to switch on. The page already exists at your club's own address and is ready to take money the moment Stripe says payouts are enabled.

Look at what a supporter sees
Open your own link before you share it. Supporters choose one-off or monthly, pick £10, £25, £50, £100 or type their own amount, and can leave a name or give anonymously. Underneath sits your club's About text and a link to the profile.
That About text is doing real work. It is often the only thing between a stranger seeing your link and deciding whether you are a real club, so it is worth the five minutes it takes to write properly.

Put the link where people already are
Your club profile carries a Donate button of its own, so anyone who finds the club finds the page. Beyond that it is up to you: social bios, the club feed, the bottom of a match report, the message that goes out when you win something. The link never changes, so it can go anywhere once and keep working.
Say what the money is for whenever you post it. "Help us cover away travel this season" collects considerably more than "donate to the club", because the second one asks the supporter to imagine a reason on your behalf.

Watch what comes in
The Donations page shows the total raised, a month-by-month bar chart, how many supporters are giving monthly, and every individual donation with its name — or Anonymous — and status.
The monthly count is the one to watch over a season. Ten people giving £5 a month is worth more to a club than one very good day in October, and it is the only line on that page that compounds.

Can supporters give monthly?
Yes — the page offers one-off and monthly, and the Donations dashboard counts how many supporters are on a recurring donation so you can see that number grow.
Do we need Stripe for donations?
Yes. Donations go directly to your club's connected Stripe account, so the page cannot take a payment until Stripe is connected and payouts are enabled.
Can somebody donate anonymously?
Yes. Name and details are optional on the donation form, and anonymous gifts appear on your dashboard as Anonymous with the amount and date intact.
How do we refund a donation?
Through your Stripe dashboard, where the original payment lives. Ballr shows you the record; Stripe owns the money and therefore the refund.
