No. Ballr Core is free forever with unlimited players and teams — fixtures, squads, selection, the private club feed, player stats and Star Player voting are all included. Plus adds the parts that remove admin rather than just store it.
The weekly availability ask over email and WhatsApp, the lineup builder and matchday graphics, membership fees and supporter donations collected through Stripe, custom club branding, and the website API for your own site.
So smaller clubs can afford it. Pricing is based on the number of active players at your club, because messaging and payment processing cost us more as a squad grows. A Sunday league side is not paying what a multi-team club pays.
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your billing settings, and changes take effect immediately. If you cancel Plus you drop back to Ballr Core — your club, squads and history all stay exactly where they are.
Ballr Core is free forever, so there is no trial clock to run down — set your club up, use it, and only move to Plus if you want the Ballr Plus features. You can cancel Plus at any time.
Payments processed through Stripe on Ballr Plus carry small transaction fees of around 3.4% +20p per transaction, these figures can vary depending on your bank and the type of card used, as well as Stripe transaction fees changing. Money goes directly into your club's own Stripe account, not ours.
